Days are gone when employees use to work as slaves. Nowadays, they expect the value and appreciation of the employer for the services they are rendering to an organization. They need respect and testimonial for their contribution and assiduity into the vocation. Innovation and advances in the work culture have become the foremost agenda in every organization. But to maintain this virtue in business, throughout its endeavor, it needs to ensure and accommodate the gratitude and satisfaction of employees. This is just like a usual business relationship, ‘Give & Take’, if employees are contented, then it becomes their sole motto to fulfill and satisfy their customer’s needs. As it is earnestly stated by an acclaimed author Simon Sinek that – “Happy employees ensure happy customers. And happy customers ensure happy shareholders- in that order”.
A person will never dwell in a place where his heart is impounded, which will lead to melancholy. Just like that, an employee cannot be cheerful, unless and until the work culture doesn’t compel them to devote to their organization. The growing competition in the arcade led the organizations to undertake the creative & effective work culture holding the essence to appraise their employees. The atmosphere into the organization needs to be healthy, enthusiastic and most importantly, ‘Both way communication relation’, as employees share the half of their day into the office, which at the end should invite them the next day enthusiastically to the organization with the same zest as the day before. If an organization is successful in doing this, then employees will involuntarily start feeling to work hard and put their soul into the work. Also, such kinds of surroundings will be suitable and benefited every employee, which brings the ball into the organization’s court to hire those employees which the organization finds credible for.

Apart from different allowances provided to the employees, there are ten most important Pillars which needs to be considered to create innovative work culture-
1) Efficient Compensation:-
The earnings provided to the employees for their efforts and contribution must be according to the standards of the company. The compensation structure must be such, where an employee must know the value of their contribution and put their dedication towards the work to and help the organization to reach its goals. The incentives structure must be designed beckoning to keep them motivated.
2) Availability of the Resources:-
Whichever resources required by the employees must be made available to them to make their work smoother and stable.
3) Healthy Environment:-
The atmosphere in the organization must be such that which ensures the smooth operating of the activity of an organization. The competition among employees must be encouraging to each other.
4) The way of Treating Employees: –
Employees must be treated as associates of the business. Their contribution to the business is the most valuable and effective one. They all must be considered as part of the organization.
5) Flexibility in working: –
There must be flexibility in the working hours of employees. Doing the same thing back and again can be monotonous. So their job roles must be shifted periodically according to their capabilities and knowledge.
6) Give allowance to failed attempts: –
It’s not that every time one will always succeed in their work, they may face failures. Organizations must give a chance to every employee, including the employees who have failed. As it will encourage employees.
7) Fun Factor: –
Most of the time or every time, employees get tedious by the organizations and doing the same work every day. Everyone gets bored with their work until that work is not of their interest or there is no happiness in doing it. There should be a fun factor that makes employees generate interest in their work. This factor should make the employee come office daily with the enthusiasm and spirit of getting things done. For example, as a part of fun factors daily different funny exercises can be performed, or daily one hour sessions must be planned to make them ready for the day.
8) Appreciate the employees for experimenting with new ideas: –
The creativity of getting things done in different ways must always be appreciated by employers. Every employee deserves a chance of experimenting with new ideas. There is some risk involved in it, but if the idea works, definitely business will get results.
9) Systematic and Well-Structured flow of Communication:-
The flow of communication from low-level management to top-level management must be well structured and systematic in such a way that there is no communication gap between employees and employers or senior-level managers. There must be clear communication between employees and top-level managers. The one-on-one sessions between employer and employee or top-level managers and employees must be held regularly.
10) Well defined Growth Structure:-
Every employee is very much focused on their growth. They expect to be at the top-level position with their hard work and their consistent efforts. Every employee despite their race, caste, religion, color must get an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and talent and get paid for it. The growth structure of employees must be very well defined and communicated to them.
Corporate with Unique Work Culture:-
Many Corporates are there, who have adopted a unique work culture and are experiencing efficiency in the achievement of their organizational goals.
Let’s take an example of a well- known company, where many people dream to work for “Google”:-
Google’s employees cannot stop praising about the company and its work culture. People working there enjoy various perks like free meals, employee trips, and parties, financial bonuses, open presentations by high-level executives, gyms, (a dog-friendly environment) and so many other perks. Googlers are known to be driven, talented, and are amongst the best.
As Google has grown and its branches have expanded and spread out to the extent where one’s eye cannot simply reach. Keeping a uniform culture has proved to be difficult to uphold in headquarters and satellite offices, as well as among the different departments within the company. The larger a company becomes, the more that culture has to amend to accommodate more employees and management for the same.
This conclusively ascertains that the company’s culture leads to a successful business, and it requires an evolving culture that can elevate with it.
